The following contains a summary of alcohol, other drug, and
violence-related incidents posted to the Incidents section of the
Center's Web site:

"[Tyler Junior College] Campus Safety has already received more than 10
calls to investigate suspicious drug activity in the dorms since the
spring semester began a little less than two months ago..."

"The Secretary of State Police Hazardous Device Unit or 'bomb squad' out
of Springfield, Ill. was called to investigate an improvised explosive
device found behind the Change of Pace...at approximately 10:30 a.m. on
Saturday. This bar is frequently visited by Western Illinois University
students, particularly on weekends..."

"Police arrested seven New England College students this week for their
alleged role in a fraternity hazing ceremony involving branding last
fall..."

"Federal drug agents have arrested a University of Montana student for a
string of drug-related robberies at Walgreens in Missoula..."

"A Monday night stabbing at Jacksonville University has prompted an
alert and search for a former JU student warned several times about
trespassing..."

"[A Saint Mary's College] sophomore...was arrested last Friday, February
27 by Moraga Police Department (PD) officers on an allegation of rape.
The incident was reported to have occurred on campus on January 24,
2009. According to the Moraga PD press release, the victim was another
Saint Mary's student..."

"[A University of Arizona student] was charged with first-degree
attempted murder and child abuse after police determined she had given
birth to a 7-pound boy and put him in a plastic bag, according to an
interim complaint filed in Pima County Justice Court..."

"[Southern Methodist University] police are investigating a report from
a student who said she was robbed at gunpoint by a cab driver near
campus..."

"A former Buffalo State [University] campus police officer is going to
prison for killing his girlfriend..."

"A University of Iowa football player who was arrested early Saturday
after allegedly driving drunk has been suspended indefinitely from the
team..."
