The Higher Education Center has posted four new subpages to the Alcohol
Web page, which is linked from the Homepage and the High-Risk Behaviors
page:

-Secondary Effects of Alcohol Abuse
-Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol and Other Drugs
-Academic Performance
These new resources complement the existing Alcohol Web page subpages:

2) ADAPAO 2009 Annual Conference
The Alcohol and Drug Abuse Prevention Association of Ohio is hosting the
ADAPAO 2009 Annual Conference, "Drinking across the Lifespan: Alcohol
Abuse Prevention at Every Age," May 6, 2009, 9:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m., EST,
in Columbus, Ohio. The registration fee is $50 for 2009 ADAPAO members
and $110 for non-members.
Keynote presentations on overall health and impairment will be
supplemented by targeted workshops on related topics, including fetal
alcohol spectrum disorder, youth and young adult drinking, drinking and
working adults, older adult drinking, community mobilization on abuse
(coalitions), and trauma and alcohol abuse among veterans.
