violence-related incidents posted to the Incidents section of the
Center's Web site:

"The main entrance to the [Rider University] Lawrenceville campus was
closed earlier than usual Wednesday evening in response to a harassment
incident..."

"[University at Buffalo's] South Campus has proven to be a hotbed for
illegal activities during recent months, with students being arrested
for a variety of drug, alcohol, and hazing-related charges..."

"A former Purdue University student was sentenced Wednesday to 93 years
in prison for repeatedly raping and confining a woman in his north
Lafayette apartment..."

"Local businesses are strongly enforcing ID checks on alcohol purchases
following a recent crackdown by Starkville Police Department [near
Mississippi State University]..."

"Local police are investigating reports of Ecstasy sales at a party in
town following a pair of alleged overdoses [at Castleton State
College]..."

"Three men suspected of robbing three people near the University of
Washington were arrested at a fraternity house early Sunday after police
found them hiding in the room of an absent fraternity member..."

"The importance of staying aware of one's surroundings may have
increased during the past 10 years as reports of stalking increased..."

"A University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point student found in a dorm
stairway had no visible injuries but was drinking before he died,
Portage County Coroner...said Monday..."

"A 21-year-old University of Massachusetts student was charged Sunday in
connection with the stabbing of a fellow student Sunday afternoon..."
