The Higher Education Center is pleased to make the following
announcements:

1) Higher Education Center's Updated "Infofacts/Resources" Now Available

The Higher Education Center has updated its "Infofacts/Resources"
series. The "Infofacts/Resources" series has 14 publications that make
great handouts for task force or coalition meetings, trainings,
workshops, conferences, and classrooms! They provide a compilation and
synthesis of data from research studies on various topics, as well as
recommendations and strategies for campuses and their surrounding
communities; each also provides references and information on resource
organizations.

2) MOST of Us 2009 Montana Summer Institute

MOST of Us is pleased to announce the 2009 Montana Summer Institute, to
be held July 9-11, 2009, with an optional one-day Pre-Institute on July
8, at Montana State University, in Bozeman, Montana. The registration
fee for the Pre-Institute and Institute is $850 until April 8, 2009, and
$925 after this date. The registration fee for the Institute only is
$700 until April 8, 2009, and $775 after this date.
 
The 2009 Summer Institute will offer an interactive, skill-building
experience that focuses on the next level of social norms: Positive
Community Norms. With the assistance of national social norms leaders,
Dr. Jeff Linkenbach will lead discussions and real-time problem solving
workshops addressing all seven steps of the Montana Model.
 
Participants will develop skills in the following areas:

Planning and environmental advocacy
Identifying, gathering, and understanding baseline data
Communication planning
Pilot testing and refining
Implementation
Evaluation
