1) CALL FOR ABSTRACTS - SOCIAL MARKETING IN PUBLIC HEALTH CONFERENCE
The 18th Annual Social Marketing in Public Health Conference, which will
be held June 18-21, 2008, invites abstract submissions to be considered
for oral presentations.
The content should demonstrate the application of social marketing to
health behavior change and improvement of public health and community
health practice. Abstracts may describe contributions to theory,
completed work involving social marketing, or work in progress that will
be substantially completed by June 2008. The deadline for abstract
submission December 1, 2007.

2) NCHERM WEBINAR - CAMPUS SEXUAL MISCONDUCT RISK MANAGEMENT
The National Center for Higher Education Risk Management is hosting a
Webinar, "Campus Sexual Misconduct Risk Management," December 5, 2007,
1:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m., Eastern. The registration fee is $249.
This Webinar will focus broadly on how college and universities can more
effectively manage the risk of sexual assaults and will challenge
participants to go beyond the current standard of campus efforts to
embrace state-of-the-art best practices. Additionally, compliance with
sexual assault-related provisions of federal law (specifically, FERPA,
the Clery Act, Title IX, and negligence case law) will be discussed. A
PowerPoint presentation prepared by the presenters will be provided to
all registrants.
