The National Association of Student Personnel Administrators is pleased
to announce a call for programs for the NASPA Mental Health Conference
2008, "Student Mental Health: Intervention and Collaboration," January
17-19, 2007, at the Tampa Marriott Waterside Hotel & Marina in Tampa,
FL.

The conference planning committee will give preference to program
submissions that provide an evidence-based, collaborative approach to
"mental well-being" as it relates to overall wellness (e.g. physical
health, stress management, social relationships, spirituality and
religiosity, etc.). Please note the program proposal deadline is
November 2, 2007.

For more information, including online program submission, please visit
http://www.naspa.org/events/detail.cfm?id=258.

2) 2008 INSTITUTE ON COLLEGE STUDENT VALUES CALL FOR PROGRAMS

The Institute on College Student Values is pleased to announce a call
for programs for the 2008 conference, "Creating Campus Conversations:
Finding Common Values Across Diverse Campus Cultures," January 31 -
February 2, 2008, at Florida State University in Tallahassee, FL.

Papers and presentations accepted for the Institute will have the
opportunity to be included in the Annual Proceedings published online at
the Institute's Web site each summer following the Institute. They may
also be submitted for peer-review consideration in the "Journal of
College and Character," published by the Hardee Center for Leadership
and Ethics in Higher Education. The Institute will examine strategies
for creating more authentic campus conversations that help to create
genuine community in which individuals are able to listen and
communicate openly without fear or intimidation. Please note the program
proposal deadline is October 19, 2007.
