SCSU Women's Center awarded $300,000

"St. Cloud State University's Women's Center has received a $300,000
grant from the U.S. Department of Justice to enhance its Gender Violence
Prevention Program..."

"The Women's Center will collaborate with Anna Marie's battered women's
shelter, the Central Minnesota Sexual Assault Center, St. Cloud Police
Department, Stearns County Attorney's Office and Stearns County Family
Violence/Sexual Assault Council to develop programs with the grant
money..."

"'We...have a number of initiatives in the grant that will improve our
services to victims of violence. We are looking forward to working with
our partner agencies to meet this goal...'"
