Police, state officials discuss underage drinking at Central

"The [Governor's Prevention Partnership drug awareness group] held a
conference at Central Connecticut State University Monday to share
knowledge with law enforcement officials and discuss ways to curb
underage drinking on college campuses and the community..."
"Ginter said that by working on environmental strategies that may impact
alcohol use, and working alongside groups such as the Department of
Mental Health and Addiction services, the campus expects to see underage
drinking decrease over the next couple of years..."
"One of the environmental strategies Ginter discussed was law
enforcement. The school formed a coalition joining together Mayor
Timothy Stewart, Police Chief William Gagliardi and CCSU's [Chief of
Police] Powell..."
