1) BNL ADDICTION RESEARCH WEBCAST
The U.S. Department of Energy's Brookhaven National Laboratory is
sponsoring a live Addiction Research Webcast from the 2007 annual
meeting of the American Association for the Advancement of Science,
featuring a panel of world-renowned neuroscientists, who will present
recent advances in brain-imaging that have revolutionized scientists'
understanding of addiction as a chronic disease. The Webcast will be
held Friday, February 16, 2007, 8:30 - 11:30 a.m. Pacific Time.

2) NCHERM STUDENT SUICIDE WEBINAR
The National Center for Higher Education Risk Management is hosting a
Webinar, "Student Suicide: What College and University Administrators
Need to Know About the Law and Best Practices," Thursday, March 1, 2007,
1:00 - 3:00 p.m. Eastern Time. This Webinar is intended to give campus
AOD staff, health service providers, counselors, and other
administrators creative strategies and best practices for working with
suicidal students.
