HEC/Alert: 2006 AOD Models on College Campuses Grant

The U.S. Department of Education's Office of Safe and Drug-Free Schools
<br />
(OSDFS) announces the Alcohol and Other Drug Prevention Models on
<br />
College Campuses Grant Competition for Fiscal Year 2006.
<br />

OSDFS expects to award approximately 5 grants, ranging from $125,000 to
<br />
$175,000, to institutions of higher education (IHEs) that offer an
<br />
associate or baccalaureate degree and have not received an award under
<br />
this grant competition during the previous five fiscal years. The goals
<br />
of this competition are to identify models of effective alcohol and
<br />
other drug (AOD) prevention programs at institutions of higher education
<br />
(IHEs) and disseminate information about these programs to other
<br />
colleges and universities where similar efforts may be adopted.

Applications are due March 22, 2006. For details, please visit the
