 - Grant Competition to Prevent High-Risk Drinking or Violent Behavior

Among College Students -
<br />

The U.S. Department of Education seeks grant applications to develop or
<br />
enhance, implement, and evaluate campus- and/or community-based
<br />
strategies to prevent high-risk drinking or violent behavior among
<br />
college students. Institutions of higher education, consortia thereof,
<br />
public and private nonprofit organizations, including faith-based
<br />
organizations, and individuals have until February 6, 2006 to apply for
<br />
grants ranging from $100,000 to $150,000.
