HEC/Alert: Department of Education Funding Opportunities

The U.S. Department of Education would like to draw prospective

grantees' attention to its Forecast of Funding Opportunities, a Web page
<br />
that lists programs and competitions under which the Department has
<br />
invited or expects to invite applications for new awards. The Forecast
<br />
of Funding Opportunities provides actual or estimated deadline dates for
<br />
the transmittal of applications under these programs. For more
<br />
information, please visit

<br />
for the Office of Safe and Drug Free Schools' funding opportunities.

Please also watch the Higher Education Center for Alcohol and Other Drug
<br />
Abuse and Violence Prevention's Web site for up-to-date information on
<br />
awards and grants announcements. As soon as funding opportunities are
<br />
announced, the Center will issue a HEC/Alert and post application
<br />
information on the Grant Info page of the Web site,
<br />
http://www.edc.org/hec/grants/.
