HEC/Alert: National Meeting Update

Monday, May 16, is the deadline for submission of presentation proposals
for this year's National Meeting on Alcohol and Other Drug Abuse and
Violence Prevention in Higher Education. The U.S. Department of Education
sponsors this annual event, the 19th in the series to take place October 2
- 5, 2005, at the Westin Indianapolis.

The Department welcomes proposals for poster presentations and workshop
sessions.

We anticipate the online submission feature will be available later this
month, accessible through the National Meeting Web site --
www.higheredcenter.org/natl/2005. There, you'll also find information
about the planning committee, travel to Indianapolis, and this year's
National Forum for Senior Administrators, cosponsored with The Network:
Addressing Collegiate Alcohol and Other Drug Issues.
