HEC/News: Alcohol, Other Drug, and Violence-Related Incidents

In order to streamline our process and minimize the number of duplicative
stories we post, the Higher Education Center compiles news reports
concerning college student alcohol, other drug, and violence-related
incidents. The following digest contains a summary of each incident and
offers a website URL where more detailed accounts of what occurred can be
found.

"A Mississippi State University student was free on bond Thursday after
authorities said they found three homemade explosive devices inside his
campus apartment..."

"State Attorney General Ken Salazar won't file criminal charges in nine
alleged sexual assaults involving University of Colorado football players
or recruits..."

"Following the third alleged rape on the campus of Susquehanna University
(PA) since April 25, a second student and a fraternity have been
suspended..."
