<p>2) Prevention Program Planning Training

A training course titled: "Prevention Program Planning" will be held in Las
Vegas, NV on August 19 and in Reno, NV on August 22. The instructors are
Nora Luna and Joshua Phillip. Training includes information on the seven
steps to prevention program planning. Related topics to be covered also
include the following:
· Prioritizing risk and protective factors
· Understanding Program Planning
· Conducting a community assessment of needs and risk and protective
factors
· Assessing and improving community readiness
· Conducting evaluations
· Understanding the use of CSAP's Logic Model
