I'm waiting to receive a sample username and password, but I was underwhelmed by the presentation I saw last week. I see the product (AlcoholEDU) as two parts:
1) a data gathering tool that will help us identify trend in certain campus demographics; could be very useful.
2) An alcohol education course, which seemed fairly consistent with any typical program. I'm not too optimistic as to the potential effectiveness of that feature, but if it is being used for credit (as it appears some institutions are doing) it may do the trick for some.
This is clearly a young company that does not necessarily have the data to back its claims, but is working to establish that data set (ie they don't yet know if their program is changing attitudes, though it appears to be having an effect on behavior).
I hope this helps...

Subject: Outside The Classroom: Got an opinion?
A representative from OTC will be visiting our campus to talk about
"Alcohol EDU." I write to ask if anyone has used the product and if so your
opinion. In addition, does anyone know anything about OTC? I would like to
know something about their background before divulging too much information
about what we do.
Best regards,
Robert
