"Home" drug testing

A colleague asked if I was aware of any "home" drug testing procedures that
are reliable. I realize the Internet is alive with such kits, but accuracy
and reliability is the concern that prompts this question. This colleague
has a client (family) in private practice and the adolescent son's drug use
is one of the issues being addressed in therapy. The family is concerned
about monitoring the adolescent's progress in recovery, but is concerned
about issues of confidentiality, especially with information shared with
Insurance companies regarding reimbursement and/or reports from the testing
sites/companies.

As always, thanks for your consideration in advance.

Best regards,

Robert
