I just watched the CNN report on Governor Bush's daughter Noelle, being
arrested for trying to get Xanex illegally. Regardless of politics,
interestingly, a doctor interviewed stated that he was unaware/puzzled of
why she would try to get xanex, as it is not typically used by drug
abusers. Hello!! If CNN spoke to any drug counselor, they would know that
xanex acts (as a benzodiazepine) much like a depressant, and many
abusers/addicts would LOVE to have xanex, and that it is in fact widely
abused! The commentator even said "well it's not like Valium or anything
like that!" So much for medical reporting. Maybe someone should let CNN
know about the desirability of any drug, partiularly sedative/depressant
types.
