National Director of Development. This individual's primary responsibility
will be the development and execution of solicitation strategies for large
national foundations for Phoenix House. This individual will report
directly to the Senior Vice President for Development of the Phoenix House
Foundation, located at 164 W. 74th Street, New York City. The Director will
work closely with the President and Executive Vice President of Phoenix
House. In addition to this primary responsibility, the Director will:
Collaborate with each of the five Phoenix House regional Directors of
Development in creating their regional foundation fundraising plans. Assist
those Directors and their staffs as needed in executing these plans. Develop
and maintain a foundation tracking system, including all regional and
national prospects. Develop and maintain an Internet repository of
foundation proposals for the benefit of the regional Development offices.

Administrative Assistant. Under the direction of the Sr. V.P. of Program
Planning & Operations, provides administrative, clerical and other support
to the Program Planning Dept. Provides administrative/clerical support

handling mail, maintaining calendar, screening/handling telephone calls and
inquiries, planning/scheduling meetings, handling staff travel arrangements,

Kinship Care Outreach Manager. This individual will be responsible for:
Marketing and disseminating kinship care materials (handbook, fact sheets,
website), Developing and conducting trainings in Phoenix House regions,
Networking with other organizations concerned with kinship care, aging,
child welfare, social work and substance abuse, Spearheading national
awareness campaign on kinship care and parental substance abuse,
Conceptualize and develop new strategies to support kinship care families
affected by parental substance abuse, Develop website content for kinship

issues, kinship care, child welfare or aging, with a special interest in
