Phoenix House's prevention affiliates, the American Council for Drug
Education (ACDE) and the Children of Alcoholics Foundation (COAF) seek two
full-time interns to work on the national college alcohol abuse prevention
program, Facts on Tap. Applicants should be interested in peer education,
heavy drinking and drug use issues, and working with a college audience.
Tasks will include refreshing existing databases and generating new
databases, facilitating focus groups, project and website review and
analysis, and other project specific tasks. These paid internships will
begin June 11, 2001 and run through August 17, 2001.
Applicants should:
* Be self-starters
* Be energetic
* Have an advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word
* Have a very basic knowledge of Microsoft FrontPage
* Be thoroughly familiar with the Internet and be able to navigate it easily
