"Flashbacks" are related to what is called a "kindling" effect in the brain,
not presence of drugs in spinal fluid. Like a well-worn path in the forest
that people will follow. They are not usually full-fledged hallucinatory
reactions. They also can occur among heavy pot smokers, a couple of days
later, obviously less of a dramatic experience than LSD flashbacks.(There was
an item on airline pilots with marijuana flashbacks some time back...but I've
known several individuals who have reported this)

Burned out from advisement and registration
