Loyola University New Orleans currently has a parental notification policy
stating that we will notify parents at the second alcohol violation, the first
drug violation, or after a serious incident with alcohol (e.g., a student is
found to have a high BAC). We do not plan, as far as I know, to begin
notifying parents at the first violation although this is an issue that our
Task Force on Alcohol Policy has recently considered.
