Hello all. . .
Please excuse the cross-postings. . . .
Check out the new Children of Alcoholics Foundation (COAF) website
www.coaf.org <http://www.coaf.org>. The Children of Alcoholics Foundation
is a national non-profit that provides a range of educational materials and
services to help professionals, children, and adults break the
intergenerational cycle of parental substance abuse.
Bookmark this website to help address the 25% of college students who are
children of alcoholic (COA) or substance abusing (COSA) parents.
Administrators, faculty, and other university staff who work with the
student population or who are affected by parental substance abuse in other
ways can also benefit from the information on www.coaf.org
<http://www.coaf.org>.
You can also link to the site from www.factsontap.org
<http://www.factsontap.org>, where you can take a look at our Options
program, the only materials and training curriculum that address college
students who are COAs and COSAs and the administrators who work with them.
The Children of Alcoholics Foundation is one of the prevention affiliates of
the Phoenix House Foundation, the nation's leading non-profit substance
abuse services agency.
