    Re: your question on dealing with student's resistance / denial in the group
    education process, you might find the Motivational Interviewing approach by
    William Miller and the Stages of Change Model by Prochaska & DiClementi very
    helpful.

    Also, information from the BASICS (Brief Alcohol Screening and Intervention
    for College Students) approach by Dimeff, Baer, Kivlahan & Marlatt useful as
    applied to a group setting.
